String Theory is what I'm talking about!

String Theory is what I'm talking about!

I had never been to String Theory, the delightful yarn store in Glen Ellyn, IL until I had my first trunk show there on Sunday. It was my first visit, but it won't be my last. Janet Avila's store has everything a yarn lover wants: a great selection of yarn, tools and patterns, and a welcoming environment. I could tell right away as her regular crowd started showing up and taking their places around the oval table in the center of the room, that this was a friendly place. They all knew each other, but welcomed every new comer in the door to join them.

I took this picture before everyone showed up, and had time. Things got hoping pretty quickly. Behind this lovely scene was my table, here, let me know you!

Why yes, I am now making the Kitchener Cheat Sheet Cuff in brass!

I had a wonderful time at String Theory. I really enjoyed meeting all of the people who came out to see me and shop, thank you! It was also so much fun to hang out in a yarn store all day and listen to folks knit and chat. I even pulled out my own knitting during a short slow spell.

I will leave you with a few more images of this crazy cute shop. Janet really knows her stuff, so you won't be disappointed.
