Let's do a virtual show!

            Let's do a virtual show!

Hey friends, the show landscape is certainly different this year, and we are all trying to adapt. Virtual shows are a new way to gather, take classes, and shop from the vendors we look forward to seeing at shows. This weekend, I am participating in my first virtual show, Vogue Knitting Live!

Virtual Vogue Knitting Live

I have really missed interacting with the fiber community, and although this cannot replace the hugs, I am looking forward to real-time chatting with you, so I hope you will consider attending. I will have live slots on Saturday, June 13 at 4pm Central/ 2pm Pacific, and on Sunday, June 14 at 9am Central, 11am Pacific.

For those planning to shop either at the show, or in the next few weeks, I want to make a couple of announcements about how orders are going.

At in person shows, I bring as big a stock of jewelry as I can so that everyone can find their size. Because of my supply-chain issues, I don't have that big stock on hand right now, so sales will work the way they always do when you shop online with me. I will be making your rings to order for the most part (I do have some in stock, so the early sales should ship out faster than sales later in the show.) This means 3-4 weeks is my estimated shipping time. I am still currently only going to the post office once a week, so if your order might not go out the day I say it is fulfilled, please be patient, but feel free to check in if you are concerned.

Charitable giving: I always share some of my profits with charities that matter to me. For Vogue Knitting Live, 25% of my profits will be going to the Brave Space Alliance.  Their mission: Brave Space Alliance is the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Center located on the South Side of Chicago, dedicated to creating and providing affirming, culturally competent, for-us by-us resources, programming, and services for LGBTQ individuals on the South and West sides of the city. We strive to empower, embolden, and educate each other through mutual aid, knowledge-sharing, and the creation of community-sourced resources as we build toward the liberation of all oppressed peoples.

Thank you as always for your support, and please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
